Information on how to Request Copies from a court file
Regular non-certified copies – 25 cents per page.
Certified copies will be 25 cents per page + $ 3.00 per document certified.
Authenticated copies will be 25 cents per page + $6.00 per document authenticated.
Mailing requested records back to requestor via United States Postal Service add + $1.00 or you may send us a self addressed stamped envelope or prepaid overnight/express package envelope and we will return the requested records in the provided envelope.
The following items are normally included in the record requests and vary by case type. If you would like to request a different item or additional items please write those in the space provided on the request form.
Criminal Case - Charging documents, guilty plea/plea agreement, disposition/judgment and any amendments to any of the listed items.
Civil Case – Judgment
Domestic Case- Judgment and modifications if applicable.
Entire Case File – All public documents filed to the case such as petition, charging documents, pleadings, motions, notice of hearings, correspondence and judgments.

Payments Accepted
Cash, Cashier’s Check/Money Order, Credit or Debit Card or Business Check.
(No personal checks accepted)
A third-party convenience fee does apply to all credit/debit card payments.
Processing time
We process the requests in the order that we receive them and normal turnaround time is 5-7 business days. Processing time may be longer for extremely large cases or requests with multiple cases and/or for any unforeseen circumstances.
Additional Information
Some case types require photo I.D. to obtain copies
Cases may be redacted per Local Court Rule and/or Missouri Statutes including but not limited to 509.520 and 595.226.
We are unable to send requested documents to a third party. If a third party is needing a copy of your case please have them file a request with our office.
Missouri Attorneys must E-file requests if case is on Case.Net. Payments may be paid via the E-filing system as well.

CD Audio Recordings are for Associate Court Cases only. Please note, not all cases will have an audio recording as this varies due to different case and hearing types. Some case types require you to be a party to the case and require photo ID.
CD Audio Recordings are $30.00

Please note that not all cases will have a transcript as this varies due to different case and hearing types. Some case types require you to be a party to the case and require photo ID.
Transcript Prices will vary
Depending on the case type, you will be contacted by the Court Reporter or the Circuit Clerk’s Office with price and estimated processing time.
Payments will be as directed by the Court Reporter or the Circuit Clerk’s Office and due prior to processing.
Missouri Attorneys must E-file requests if case is on Case.Net. Payments may be paid via the E-filing system as well.
